On February 20, 2025, Mentors Country Estate in Jeffrey’s Bay played host to a landmark event — the launch of the Eastern Cape Tourism Awards and Expo (ECTA). In collaboration with the Kouga Municipality, this event set the stage for an exciting journey ahead for the tourism sector in the Eastern Cape.

The energy in the room was palpable because everyone had a shared common goal: to enhance and promote tourism in the Eastern Cape, boost tourism, create jobs, and celebrate the rich culture and scenic beauty the province has to offer.
